9 Winter Hair Colour Ideas For Brunettes
Enjoying fall so far?
It’s my favourite season and by far the most interesting one in terms of makeup, fashion and hair colours. Whether you’re looking to deepen your shade or go full-on mushroom brown, here are 10 fall/winter hair colour ideas for brunettes to dramatically freshen up your locks this year!

1. Warm Brown/Caramel Balayage
Hate seeing root regrowth? Colouring your ends might be the answer and this warm brown/caramel balayage hair colour combo would be a great place to start.
2. Warm Rose Brown
Have a thing for rose gold or all things rose tinted? Me too, so I couldn’t take my eyes of this warm rose brown hair colour shade.
3. Burgundy Hair
I’ve always wanted burgundy hair, but alas, this colour just won’t work for me (and believe me, I tried and it ended in disaster!) so I’ll have to admire it from afar…
4. Chestnut Brown
Suitable for so many skin tones, chestnut brown is a staple shade for brunettes and this balayage take is a great way to update your hair this winter.
5. Mushroom Brown
Mushroom brown hair is totally new to me, but this lighter brown shade is truly stunning and a great update to traditional medium brown hair, if you can pull off this look (I sure cant!).
6. Ash Black
This is my territory – I regularly dye my hair black at home, so you know a great cool-toned black shade was a must in this post.
7. Chocolate Cherry Balayage
Besides sounding delicious, chocolate cherry balayage hair is a perfect way to warm up your locks and add dimension.
8. Dark Ash Brown
Not a fan of warm tones? Ash tones are great if you’re looking for a cooler-toned hair colour this fall.
9. Medium Brown with highlights
Adding a few complimentary highlights is great for adding depth to your hair for instant body and movement.
