The best street style from Milan Fashion Week 2020
Synonymous with heritage and craftsmanship, Milan Fashion Week never disappoints. And for the spring/summer 2020 schedule (September 17 to 23), there’s a whole host of new additions alongside its major players.
Gucci, Prada and Versace will dominate the spring/summer 2020 calendar, while Jil Sander, Fendi and Marni take their usual spots. Others are joining the line-up from further afield: Peter Pilotto from London, Boss from New York and leather specialist Drome from Paris. The hottest ticket is Bottega Veneta, where creative director Daniel Lee is preparing for his sophomore show; after a wildly successful runway debut earlier this year, expectations are high.
Bottega Veneta reigns off the catwalk too, with the Milan’s most stylish showgoers sporting the brand’s square-toed sandals and cloud-shaped clutch bags. There’s also louche tailoring, tonal dressing and eye-catching hair accessories. Here, Vogue photographer Jonathan Daniel Pryce hits the streets in search of the best MFW looks.
